Lately, my go-to jewelry look has been a simple stud earring with a few bracelets. I love the simplicity of the look yet at the same time, the bracelets add the right amount of fun to the outfit.
I almost always throw a watch on with my looks. I switch between a silver Michael Kors watch and a gold watch that my dad received and I stole from him HA! Thanks again dad! However, I am loving the mix of gold and silver in the above Michael Kors watch. (hint hint for W 😉 )

With spring right around the corner, I have visions of flip flops and bright-colored clothing dancing in my head!
I LOVE spring! I long for the day I can rotate my winter coat to the back of the closest and move my trench to the front. I will gladly swap my flat boots for flip flops or a cute wedge.
This year’s spring brings a little more than any other…. the end of my twenties! While my twenties were amazing and I wouldn’t trade them for anything (well ok, one thing, but I won’t get into that), I look forward to what my thirties hold for me.
For now, I hope the future holds some of the following =)

Why is it that every time you go shopping for yourself, you can never find what you are looking for. BUT when you are out and about shopping for someone else, you see TONS of things you’d love to add to your closet.
This has been my experience lately. I’ve been all over the place trying to find that perfect Christmas gift for each person on my list. Unfortunately, I’ve had little success for my list of recipients, but I’ve seen something I love in almost every store HA!
But this time a year, it’s obviously not about me and my closet. It’s about others. Butttttt if it WAS about me, I’d buy some of these….
To continue my creative streak, I recently took a jewelry making class with one of my friends. The class titled, Create Easy Earrings, was held at Beadeologie.
For the record, “easy” earring making is a lot harder than it sounds. One of the hardest parts is picking out the beads! When I walked into Beadeologie, I was overwhelmed by the selection.
While I had a lot of fun taking the class and learning something new, I think I may need to stick to sewing! However, I did receive jewelry making kits and materials for my birthday, so I may need to attempt it just one more time.
Two pairs of earrings that I made!
